I recently had A Phlebectomy on my right leg. I had many varicose veins. I unwrapped it for the first time today, and a large varicose vein remains over my knee and another on my calf. Can this be taken care of when I schedule surgery on the other leg?

I had rested and walked intermittently for first 48 hours. Today is first day I've noticed swollen foot & aching leg. Wondering if too much activity, tight bandage, or complication? I also feel throbbing behind my knee where procedure took place.

I had ambulatory phlebectomy with ligation 6 weeks ago and my leg still has shooting pains at times and I've got this painful bump on my inner thigh that won't go away. Sometimes the swelling (maybe a vein) spreads up the thigh (painful). Any ideas?

My Dr discussed EVLA and Sclerotherapy. Now, my paperwork mentions EVLA, Deep Sclerotherapy, and Phlebectomy are approved by insurance. I was told that this is just a back up procedure, but I am uncomfortable with the seemly casual addition of taking out veins.

It has been 6 days after my procedure..each day I noticed a sore area in my inner thigh...today I felt what seems to be a large lump 3- 4 inches long, two inches wide that is solid...any ideas? Should I go to Doctor?
