Welcome to UCLA Manhattan Beach Imaging & Interventional Center!
The Interventional Radiology section is pleased to announce the launch of our Varicose Vein Treatment program. Our physicians, nurse practitioners and technologists perform sclerotherapy, ambulatory phlebectomy, microphlebectomy and laser therapy of diseased superficial veins at both the UCLA Westwood and UCLA Santa Monica Campuses.

Cheryl Hoffman, MD
Dr . Hoffman obtained her medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and is a board certified diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training in both vascular and interventional radiology, which she completed at Stanford University Medical Center, and magnetic resonance imaging, which she completed at the University of California, Irvine.
As an interventional radiologist, she performs minimally invasive procedures that use multiple imaging machines including CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and MR. She is well-versed in all aspects of traditional and modern state-of-the-art procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, thrombolysis, endovenous thermal ablation of veins, phlebectomy, and sclerotherapy. She has gained extended training in the field of vein disease, a particular interest, and has therefore become board certified in phlebology and a registered physician in vascular interpretation. After a 10 year period in private practice in the long beach community, she joined UCLA in 2005.
