At our facility we offer complete duplex ultrasounds and vein mapping to diagnose venous abnormalities. The patient will have an extended visit with the physician and clinical nurse to review these findings and to create a specific treatment plan. We will also obtain any necessary authorizations from your insurance company.
The treatments offered at The Vein and Laser Center include:
• Endovenous laser ablation (EVLT)-vein closure by the use of advanced laser technology
• Micro-phlebectomy-removal of visual varicosities through tiny incisions causing minimal scarring
• Foam sclerotherapy-injection of chemicals into varicose veins, incompetent perforators, or labial varicosities which causes the veins to collapse, no longer allowing blood to flow through it.
• Sclerotherapy-injection of chemicals into the small web appearing veins commonly referred to as ‘spider veins’. These are typically cosmetic in nature and not covered by insurance plans.
• Free screenings are offered to anyone who is curious about their vein problems but are unsure if they have a medical vs. a cosmetic condition.
