Vein Treatment Specialists, P.C., is an outpatient varicose vein treatment center providing care in Loveland, Glenwood Springs, and Aspen, Colorado.  Vein Treatment Specialists, P.C is owned and operated by Dr. Bob Dupper, M.D. The mission of Vein Treatment Specialists, PC is to relieve the pain, discomfort, medical complications, and cosmetic embarrassment caused by chronic venous insufficiency (varicose veins).  Dr. Dupper provides the full spectrum of outpatient varicose vein treatment using scientifically supported techniques and technology in a comfortable, caring environment.

Phlebology is a developing specialty in the United States.  In the past varicose vein treatment was carried out in the operating room under general anesthesia.  It required the skills and environment of a surgeon.  Now, with new technologies, and procedures current treatment of varicose veins is being carried out by doctors coming to the field of Phlebology from many different areas of medicine.  

Dr. Bob Dupper, MD, owner of Vein Treatment Specialists, PC has entered the field of Phlebology after practicing Emergency Medicine for nearly 20 years as a residency trained, and board certified physician.  Dr. Dupper finds that many of the skills learned in Emergency Medicine have prepared him for this exciting new area of medicine.  Vein Treatment Specialists, PC originated in Loveland, Colorado, and still sees patients in the original location.  Vein Treatment Specialists, PC is now serving the mountain communities and the surrounding areas of Aspen, and Glenwood Springs.

Dr. Dupper’s family roots in Northern Colorado extend back over 100 years. He received his medical degree at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.  His Emergency Medicine residency was completed in Dayton, Ohio at Wright State University Department of Emergency Medicine. After serving on the academic faculty for two years, and the clinical faculty for eight years, he and his family returned to their roots in Northern Colorado.  Prior to opening Vein Treatment Specialists, PC, Dr. Dupper practiced Emergency Medicine for almost 20 years. Dr. Dupper has trained with several of the most experienced Phlebologists in the United States.  He continues to pursue the latest knowledge in techniques and scientifically based treatments for varicose vein disease.
