Barbara S. Zuniga, M.D.
With over 11 years of clinical experience in women's health, Dr. Barbara S. Zuniga has a unique perspective on the role that varicose and spider veins play in a woman's life. Dr. Zuniga is a member of the American College of Phlebology and completed her Phlebology Fellowship through the Midwest Vein Center Training Institute. Prior to joining the Midwest Vein Center, Dr. Zuniga maintained a private OB/Gyn practice in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago. With surgical, ultrasound and clinical experience in treating women's health issues, Dr. Zuniga combines the newest technologies with solid scientific data in her practice as a Phlebologist.

Dr. Zuniga is fully trained in all aspects of vein disease and is the Medical Director of the Midwest Vein Center in Orland Park. Because of her background and experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Zuniga’s special area of expertise in Phlebology is in the treatment of varicose and spider vein problems that develop as a result of pregnancies.
Dr. Zuniga is a proud mother of two young children. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and cooking. She is also a member of the Northwest Indiana Choir.
