Our physician and medical director Jozef Tryzno, MD, RVT, FASA, FASLMS has been providing quality medical care for over 20 years. He is a highly skilled physician with over 12 years of laser technology hands on experience, and also one of the very few highly qualified vein specialists in the area.

The philosophy of the practice is based on providing the latest, safest, and most advanced cosmetic technology to our patients. This is achieved in a very professional, yet tailored and personal way, with the patient’s goals and expectations as the highest priority.

Experience: No other facility in the area has as much experience as we do with phlebology and laser technologies. Our medical director Jozef Tryzno, M.D., has performed thousands of cases and is specially trained in Phlebology and Laser and MultiLight technology.

Equipment: All systems are permanently located at our office and are not brought in by truck for occasional use. This assures you that treatment after treatment we will provide each patient with predictable, best possible results.

Consultation: We believe that our commitment to providing pre-op consultation immeasurably helps our patients in their decision making process. Patients often require a combination of therapies to successfully treat their problems.

At the time of your consultation, our medical provider will discuss your individual needs and concerns, in order to develop the best treatment options for you. For the majority of our patients, the results are remarkable. For your convenience, some of the treatments can be performed immediately following your consultation if you desire.

For all venous consultation Dr. Tryzno personally conducts a venous screening evaluation to assess the extent of the symptoms and the potential severity of any underlying problem.  Armed with this information, Dr. Tryzno can educate each patient about a treatment plan, estimated cost and the expected outcome. 
 

Jozef Tryzno, MD, RVT, FASA, FASLMS is a founder and President of International Vein & Skin Institute, committed to excellence in  diagnosis and treatments of varicose veins, diseases of the skin, hair & nails, pioneering new diagnostic methods, digital dermoscopy, high resolution duplex ultrasound applications laser and multi-light  and many other innovative technologies in diagnosis of varicose veins and skin diseases.

•Dr Tryzno was first in Chicago land to use VNUS procedure after FDA approval in 1999 and soon one of the very first few in USA to use laser (EVLT) in treatment of varicose veins. 

•He was also first in Polish Chicago community to introduce application of innovative laser technologies in dermatology.

•Dr Tryzno in not only certified by American Board of Phlebology and Family Practice, but also holds RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) credentials from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

•In recognition of his expertise he has been nominated Fellow by American Society of Angiology and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. 

•For his impeccable professional standing and superior achievements in “Science of Laser and Ultrasound in Medicine” Dr Tryzno has earned prestigious nomination as International Healthcare Professional of the year 2007, IBC, Cambridge, England. He was voted America’s Top Physician of 2009 by Consumers’ Research  Council of America
 

Lyubov Shapiro, MSN, APN, NP-C joined International Vein & Skin Institute in September, 2009. She is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner providing quality dermatological care to Polish, English and Russian speaking communities.

She sees new and established patients 13 years of age and older. Lyuba performs cosmetic sclerotherapy, skin biopsies, simple excisions, treatment of various skin lesions. She performs full spectrum of AFT, PIXEL & Erbium laser treatments.

Lyuba is a member of American College of Phlebology and her special interests include diagnostic vascular ultrasound and non invasive vascular physiologic studies.
