Thomas Heggen, MD, FACOG is a Board-Certified Gynecologic surgeon who has been in private practice for twenty-two years. For many years, Dr. Heggen has seen his patients suffer from venous insufficiency, often due to pregnancy or genetics, and found local comprehensive services to treat them somewhat lacking. Dr. Heggen devoted an entire year to training and becoming certified in the comprehensive evaluation and state of the art treatment of vein disease of the lower extremities. He trained in didactic and hands-on settings with some of the nations most experienced phlebologists, and has amassed extensive personal experience treating venous disease using state of the art technologies. Dr. Heggen has over two decades of experience with ultrasound and laser therapies used to evaluate and treat venous disease.

Brian J. Egan, DO, FACOOG is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Egan earned his Medical Degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Midwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Egan is a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, and Will-Grundy Medical Society. Dr. Egan is also a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetrics and Gynecology, Diplomate of National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, and Diplomate of American Board of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Egan is a life-long resident of Joliet, Illinois. He attended Troy Schools and graduated from Joliet Catholic High School. For the past 12 years, Dr. Egan has practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in Shorewood, IL. Dr. Egan provides highly personalized and compassionate health care and is highly attuned to the personal needs of his patients. Through his training in Osteopathic medicine, he is uniquely qualified to focus on the whole person. Along with Dr. Heggen, Dr. Eagan trained in the same didactic and hands-on settings with some of the nations most experienced phlebologists, and has also amassed extensive personal experience treating venous disease using state of the art technologies. Dr. Egan has over twelve years of experience with ultrasound and laser therapies used to evaluate and treat venous disease.

Over the years, Dr. Egan has received advanced level training in medical laser and other cosmetic procedures.

James Kim, MD, FACOG is a board certified physician who has extensive experience with minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and laser surgery. Over the years Dr. Kim's interest and knowledge of laser surgery has allowed him to expand the use of lasers to cosmetic applications. He has brought his knowledge and experience with minimally invasive surgery to cosmetic laser procedures to minimize your recovery time and maximize your treatment results.

Dr. Kim's training includes completing a laser and minimally invasive surgery fellowship at Tufts New England Medical Center and Women's Surgery Center. He also completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at SUNY Buffalo.

During the past two years, Dr. Kim has spent most of his time that is not dedicated to his Ob/GYN practice, attending advanced phlebology training, concentrating on disease and treatment of the lower extremities.

Dr. Kim is certified in Advanced Laparoscopic and Laser surgery by the Accreditation Council of Gynecologic Endoscopy. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
