He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College. Dr. Drew Georgeson attended Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (Midwestern University) and received his D.O. degree in 1985. Dr. Georgeson completed his general surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Georgeson became a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery in 1993 and recertified in 2001. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
As a Board-Certified surgeon, Dr. Georgeson specializes in advanced technological procedures. His more than 14 years of practice have provided patients with advanced surgical procedures. Dr. Georgeson was trained in the use of the TriVex System in 2002. He has received many hours of training in vein treatments.
