Procedures & Services
At The Vein Institute of New Jersey, we take a comprehensive approach to treating your vein problems.

After obtaining a history and performing a physical exam in a comfortable, patient-friendly environment, you will undergo a noninvasive doppler and ultrasound exam at our prestigious, ICAVL accredited vascular lab to determine the areas of your venous problems (dilated veins, faulty valves, and areas of clot).

Based on the information collected, a custom, individualized treatment plan will be formulated by your doctor and discussed with you in detail. Veins that are cosmetically unappealing, or cause pain or other symptoms are prime candidates for treatment.

Our faculty of surgeons has developed many procedures that will make your vein care simple and convenient.

Endovenous Laser - VenaCure™ — a minimally invasive laser procedure that is a better alternative to surgical stripping. A laser fiber is inserted into the vein and delivers laser energy that causes the vein wall to collapse and seal shut.

Radiofrequency Occlusion - Closure™ Procedure — in this minimally invasive procedure, the surgeon inserts an electrical tube inside the vein to deliver radiofrequency energy that causes the vein wall to collapse and seal shut.

Ambulatory Phlebectomy — surgical removal of surface varicose veins performed under local anesthesia with minimal to no scarring.

Sclerotherapy — a relatively painless procedure in which the doctor injects a small amount of fluid into the affected area, causing the vein to collapse and disappear.

Laser — we use this practically painless treatment on the smallest spider veins and broken capillaries on the legs and face.
