The goal of Exclusive Vein Care (EVC) of San Antonio is to treat varicose vein and spider vein problems using minimally invasive techniques that give excellent results with little discomfort or down time. These procedures are done on an outpatient basis in the EVC Clinic in a comfortable, relaxed, professional atmosphere. Before any treatment is undertaken a patient is informed about treatment options, costs, and the relative benefits of each type of treatment. Dr. Crowther is a graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He started medical practice in south Texas with the Navy at the Naval Air Station at Beeville. Since 1987 he has had a medical practice in Three Rivers, TX. He has a wide range of experience including many years as an emergency department contract physician, EMS medical director, and long term care physician in addition to a very large general medical practice. Much of his work has included office based surgical procedures. 

Dr. Crowther is a full time phlebologist with a solo practice in north San Antonio. He is particularly interested in Duplex ultrasound which is the most effective method for diagnosing the cause of vein disease. A Registered Vascular Specialist in ultrasound (RVS), Dr. Crowther personally maps each patient's veins in order to provide the best options for treatment of varicose and spider veins. Dr. Crowther offers the latest technology including the CoolTouch 1320 nm endovenous laser system, the most efficient laser based varicose vein treatment available. He works with many insurance companies in addition to accommodating those without insurance coverage. He will discuss all available management options during the free initial consult.
