Varicose Vein Treatment Options
Dr. Deming uses both Endovenous Laser Treatment (EVLT) and Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy to treat varicose veins. Since no two cases of varicose veins are ever exactly alike, Dr. Deming will tailor the treatment program to meet your specific needs.
Spider Vein Treatment
For spider vein treatment and removal, Dr. Deming will utilize a microinjection procedure called Sclerotherapy. They not only treat the unsightly surface spider veins, but also the feeder veins that actually cause them. Treating the feeder veins treats the source of the problem, lessening the chance of recurrence.
Venous Leg Ulcer Treatment
Dr. Deming effectively treats venous leg ulcers with a combination of non-elastic compression and Endovenous Laser Treatment (ELT), and/or Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy.
Treating Vein Disorders
For larger varicose veins our physician utilizes the COMPASS protocol of ultrasound-guided Sclerotherapy. The ultrasound provides a live view of your veins, ensuring that the physician is injecting the sclerosant into the precise location to optimize treatment results.
For spider veins and other small veins closer to the skin's surface, ultrasound guidance is usually not necessary. In these cases, our physicians and nurses can effectively treat these veins with Sclerotherapy.
