The Center is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of chronic venous diseases and conditions in a warm, friendly and professional environment with direct acces to our office staff and to Dr. Iglesias for your examination, ultrasounds and procedures such as minimal invasive varicose veins surgery, laser and esclerotherapy. The facility provides all venous ultrasound and color duplex exams in our office.
Dr. Jose V. Iglesias received his Medical Degree from the University of Antioquia in Colombia and then he specialized in Surgery and Thoracic and Cardio-Vascular Surgery in Baltimore, Maryland at South Baltimore General Hospital, The University of Mayland and John Hopkins Hospital. He became Board Certified in Surgery and of Maryland and John Hopkins Hospital. He became certified by the American Board of Surgery and the Board of Thoracic and Cardiovasular Surgery. Dr. Iglesias Came to Houston in 1975 as a Faculty member of MD Anderson Hospital. He has practice as General and Vascular Surgeon during the last 33 years. He has been President of the Medical Staff and Chief of Surgery at Houston NorthWest Medical Center. He has been President of the North Branch of the Harris County Medical Society and a Member of the Board of Trustees of Houston Academy of Medicine. Dr. Iglesias is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons,Member of The American College of Phlebology and the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery. Dr. Iglesias has been recognized as one of the "Best Doctors in America" - Central Region.
