About Mario O. Kapusta, MD, FACS
Dr. Kapusta completed his training in General Surgery at the University of Texas, Houston, and in Cardiovascular Surgery at the Texas Heart Institute, Houston. He brings over 20 years of experience to the treatment of patients with diseases of the veins, arteries, heart and lungs. He is Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
Dr. Kapusta is the first physician in Houston certified by the American Board of Phlebology. He is a member of the American College of Phlebology, the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
His knowledge and experience in Ultrasonography is recognized through certification by Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) and Registered Phlebology Specialist (RPh) and by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
Vein Center Houston offers state of the art diagnostic and therapy services for patients with varicose and spider veins. Each patient is evaluated by Dr. Kapusta and a treatment plan is developed for each patient according to their needs. He also performs all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
