About Peter E. Jensen, MD, FACS, RVT
Dr. Jensen is a Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgeon who specializes in the treatment of common vein disorders, specifically those of the lower extremities. Dr. Jensen graduated with Honors from Harvard College in 1986. He then attended the University of Utah School of Medicine, from which he graduated in 1990. He performed surgical training at Dartmouth, Stanford, and the University of Vermont, and served as a fellow in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago until 2001.
Dr. Jensen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the American College of Phlebology. Dr. Jensen has also been awarded the credential of Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
