VIVA 13

by Pam Kurtz, Cournet Mendivil

Please join us at VIVA 13 for an unparalleled opportunity to interact with experts, immerse in education and experience innovation.

VIVA® is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to education, research, and awareness of vascular disease. Many endeavors unfold throughout the year that help fulfill VIVA’s mission, including fellowship opportunities, collaboration with worldwide vascular meetings, interaction with policy makers, support for and participation in vascular research, and development of awareness initiatives for issues like critical limb ischemia and philanthropy. The VIVA Board is comprised of 15 physicians representing vascular medicine, vascular surgery, interventional radiology and cardiology.

As we enter our second decade, the annual VIVA Symposium remains the most important and outward manifestation of the board’s enthusiasm and commitment to the vascular field. VIVA has established a tradition of novel and personalized educational tools, including
electronic learning, live cases with robust multidisciplinary discussion, and many venues for interaction between faculty and attendees.

The faculty is comprised of experts from eight different specialties who treat patients with vascular disease. The faculty is handpicked as the most passionate educators who dedicate themselves to evidence-based care. There are multiple learning venues and attendees can pick the format that works best for their individual style. We have developed new programs and refined winning programs from recent VIVA meetings. As vascular care evolves, VIVA aims to provide educational opportunities that will allow attendees to stay on top of the field, engage with new colleagues, learn from other specialists, and glimpse into the future of vascular care.
