Can compression stockings help with varicose veins on the tops of my feet?

I have mild varicose veins in both my legs and on the tops of both feet. From what I've read, compression stockings can help with stabilizing veins in my legs, but what about the veins in my feet?

Compression hose may help slow down the progression of the problem, but it will most likely not make them go away. They can be treated by microphlebectomy or sclerotherapy.

Varicose veins on the feet often originate from inside the leg above the ankle. Compression stockings can compress these veins, but they do not eliminate them and they do not slow down their progression. Only by having them treated can you actually eliminate them.

Since reverse gradient compression hosiery exerts maximum squeeze at the foot and less at the top, they will help control venous insufficiency symptoms while worn.

Compression stockings help with swelling, pain and helps keep the veins from dilating. If you have not been evaluated for this problem, I would advise you to do so.

Compression stockings do decompress varicose veins to reduce venous pressure. The stockings usually cover the entire foot from the toes, so they should also decompress foot veins.

My vascular surgeon did an ultrasound and prescribed endovenous laser ablation. She also suggested that I wear compression stockings after the procedure. However, due to severe psoriasis and eczema on my feet, I cannot wear full-coverage stockings that cover them. They must always be in wet dressings, but cannot be fully covered. Would footless compression stockings be just as effective as full-coverage hose following the procedure?
