I think alcohol, spicy food, and hot beverages, may interfere with treatment of facial spider veins, but I don't think the same thing holds true with leg veins. However, I do suggest patients avoid hot saunas, hot tubs, baths, and very intense exercise such as spinning classes for one week after treatment. This is my opinion. There is no scientific research on this subject.

Wait at least a day. This is a question for the physician that did the injections.

It would be best to abstain from alcohol for one week after a sclerotherapy procedure.

There should be no reaction between taking an alcoholic beverage and having sclerotherapy. The sclerotherapy solution should be cleared from your system within 4 hours, so to be safe, 4 hours should be adequate but probably unnecessary.
