Can Intense Pulse Light therapy be used on the hands?

I have ugly, visible veins on the backs of my hands and would like to get rid of them. Would IPL work, or are other treatments better?

IPL does not remove veins. Prominent veins on the back of the hands can be removed by sclerotherapy.

I treat hand veins with sclerotherapy for smaller veins and endovenous laser for the larger veins. I do not think that IPL will work well on hand veins and I would not recommend using it for treating hand veins.

IPL does not treat the large veins on the hands. Only very small telangectasias and sun/age spots. Likely that sclerotherapy or YAG laser is needed for most size hand veins.
