I had a prominent but otherwise normal blue vein under my right eye removed, and the results were great. I only got one treatment, and then a few weeks later it seems like the blue vein is getting darker, as I can see it again. Is it coming back?
I'm pretty sure you meant you had a laser treatment not endovenous ablation of an under eye vein. We treat many of these, and the number of treatments needed varies from person to person. Some do well with one treatment but we get them back in about 6 weeks to check for any intact branches and retreat the main vein if it's still visible.
There is also a healing process and the vein may become darker until it is "absorbed" by your body. You should wait about 6 weeks before re-treatment.

Endovenous laser ablation is not done for veins around the eye. You may have had a topical laser and,if so, multiple treatments for this may be necessary. Sclerotherapy also works well for this.

don't know what procedure you had to treat the vein below your right eye, but I doubt it was Endovenous Laser Ablation. Endovenous Laser Ablation is not used to treat facial veins.

I would recommend following up with your treating physician and find out which procedure you had done. At that time you could be assessed.

This is a flawed question since endovenous laser ablation is not used around the eye.

This is not endovenous laser ablation. They did not put a vein inside the vein in your face. You may have had a cutaneous laser used which no it does not work well and the veins will take several sessions to resolve.

Endovenous laser is only used in the legs. Transcutaneous laser is used around the eye.
Visit the MD who did your treatment to see it.
