I would avoid hot tubes for one week and wear the compression hose for 3
full days and nights and then 2 full weeks during the day. Then back in the
hot tub.

It would be better to wait a week or so but this depends on whether you have had topical treatments only or treatment of the deeper reticular veins.
The larger the veins treated the longer I would wait. A hot tub dip would depend on how long your treater recommends hose.
This can vary from practice to practice. We typically encourage our patients to wear them for 7 days straight, 24/7 and then they are done. Some practices are more or less.

At our clinic we recommend a minimum of one week of avoidance of hot tubs, swimming pools, creeks and lakes, bathtubs, etc after cosmetic sclerotherapy. The thing to remember here is that there will be multiple small skin "breaks" from the small needle administering the sclerosant; each of these sites is an area where the skin is not as effective at preventing infection. Although swimming pools and hot tubs are often chlorinated, the risk of skin infection is still present and it is probably best to avoid immersion until your skin heals completely. Along these same lines, we recommend showers during that first week instead of baths to minimize any risk.

Most phlebolgist recommend not to expose the area of leg that is treated by sclerotherapy to any extreme heat for few days, including hot tub or sitting too close to a fire place.
The reason is simply the fact that slight local inflammation shortly after sclerotherapy. Exposing an area that is already inflamed to heat can increase the inflammation and cause dilation of small vessels in that area. So it is preferred not expose the sclerosed leg to any source of high temperature for 3-4 days after sclerotherapy.

Hot environments cause dilation of veins and you want treated veins to be as
collapsed as possible following sclerotherapy. Opinion varies somewhat on
the recommended duration of compression stocking. Very thin spider veins may
not need any compression. Most practitioners recommend a week or so of
compression stockings for spider and thin blue veins, whereas larger blue or
bulging veins may require 2 or more weeks.

Following sclerotherapy I recommend support stockings for 48 hours and I would not recommend going into a hot tub also for 48 hours. You do not want to dilate the injected veins immediately following sclerotherapy.

Wait a week for the hot tub. Wear stocking for 1-2 weeks depending on the vein size, ask you provider.

I suggest avoiding a hot tub for at least two weeks and wearing the support hose 24 hours a day except for daily showers for the first two weeks. Thereafter, routine daily use of support hose will slow down development of new varicose veins.
