Can you suggest a brand of compression stocking that is comfortable to wear and easy to put on?

The compression stocking suggested for me is very, very tight. It's also very difficult to put on. Do you know of a compression stocking I wear comfortably and that is easy to put on?

The two most well thought of brands are Sigvartis and Jobst. In the end, if you are unable to tolerate, even an over-the-counter support hose helps, although it is less effective.

If a compression stocking is strong enough to do the job it is designed for, it will be difficult to put on. However, there are tricks for donning stockings which the doctor's office can share with you, including the use of rubber gloves and proper technique to work them up over the feet and the legs.

If measured and fitted correctly, the hose should be comfortable to wear. Did the person who fitted your hose show you how to apply the hose, use gloves for better grip and if open toe, use a foot slip. Better quality hose have more stretch and stretch memory but all hose can be challenging to apply.

No, compression stockings should be tight and therefore are difficult to put on. Maybe your size maybe too small. Other than that, anything more comfortable is probably inferior quality compression and I wouldn't recommend it.

Compression hoses are made to be very tight, otherwise they would not work. Unfortunately, this creates the problem of putting them on. There are several manufacturers that make the hoses, and wear-ability may depend on the type of material they used. Probably experimentation is the best way
for you to select the ones you like. There are also hose donning devices that facilitate putting on the hoses are well worth the small investment.

My vascular surgeon did an ultrasound and prescribed endovenous laser ablation. She also suggested that I wear compression stockings after the procedure. However, due to severe psoriasis and eczema on my feet, I cannot wear full-coverage stockings that cover them. They must always be in wet dressings, but cannot be fully covered. Would footless compression stockings be just as effective as full-coverage hose following the procedure?
