I would suggest waiting 4 weeks. If you don't, those treatments will probably hurt more.

Healing time post sclerotherapy can vary from person to person, size of veins treated and location. The lower areas on the legs, typically take longer. Larger veins also. We usually recommend waiting for massages of any kind for about a week. For lymphatic massages, if you have swelling that causes discomfort, you could do it several days after treatment. This is a gentle form of massage, so it should not be a problem.

Two weeks if all is well would be reasonable, but it may depend on the type of sclerotherapy. Ask your doctor at the time of treatment.

Healing varies from two weeks to three months. Usually right after treatment is done, you wear compression stockings and resume your daily activities. Every patient is different and healing time can depend on who treated you on a given day and how much solution they injected you with.

It is recommended to wait at least one week before doing any activity such as the massages, but I would recommend that you wait until after the follow up appointment you should have scheduled with your doctor to see if the veins are closed off.

Sclerotherapy heals in stages. I tell patients to wear support hose for 48 hours. They can resume all normal activities immediately with two exceptions: no sitting in a hot tub for 48 hours, and avoid sunburn for about 1 week. I wait 6 weeks between sclerotherapy treatments. You should be able to resume lymphatic massage within 48 hours.
