How long until I can resume aerobic exercise and light weight lifting?

I had an hour of laser therapy for my spider veins yesterday. The technician who did my procedure was not sure how long I needed to wait until I resume aerobic exercise and light weight lifting. Any suggestions? Thank you!

If you had topical laser treatment, you can resume all physical activity including aerobic exercise and weight lifting immediately. I do not restrict my patients from exercising following spider vein treatment. I do recommend that you continue with compression of the veins during exercise.

1 week should be enough but you should check in with the clinic where
you had this procedure done.

3 days until you should exercise vigorously. I assume she put you in some compression hose.

Our patients wear support stockings after the procedure and are able to resume treadmill, eliptical and light aerobics immediately. We do not treat spider veins exclusively with laser as there are "feeder" reticular veins below the surface which should be treated with injections (sclerotherapy). Perhaps seeing someone with more experience would be beneficial

I tell my patients to avoid heavy aerobic exercise or weight lifting for 5 to 7 days.
