How long do sclerotherapy chemicals stay in the bloodstream?
The solutions used are out of your bloodstream quite quickly (several days to be safe). Drinking fluids and walking help with this. Speak with the OB.

Due to the risk of absorption of the sclerosing solution and other factors, most phlebologists would agree to begin sclerotherapy at least 3 months after delivery depending on whether you plan to breast feed. As far as getting pregnant, you can certainly try as soon as your treatments have ended. It is unnecessary to wait weeks or months.

I would not have sclerothearpy done if you are trying to get pregnant, but waiting a week should be long enough for all of the sclerosants to clear. I also feel that if a patient is breast feeding it is best to hold off on sclerotherapy until you are no longer breast feeding. Another alternative is to use a breast pump and discard the breast milk for three to four days after a sclero treatment.

I am asked this question many times. You can safely get pregnant immediately after a treatment. But if you do get pregnant in the middle of a series of treatments, you should stop all treatments until 3 months after you deliver. This is a wide safety margin for the prevention of blood clots.
The medications that are used by almost all experts, Sodium Tetradecyl Sulfate and Polidocanol, are very safe. They are fatty acid esters similar to lidocaine. They are cleared out of your system in 24 hours more or less.

The feeling is that these are metabolized rapidly certainly within a day or two. So waiting months after a treatment would not be necessary.

It is safe to become pregnant after sclerotherapy since the solution is out of your system in a short amount of time. I don't recommend sclerotherapy during pregnancy or breast feeding.

It is out of your system in a few hours. Even if you were recently pregnant ie just missed your period it would more than likely be ok.

I would suggest waiting until you have completed breast feeding.

Although I do not know exactly how long it takes the body to excrete the sclerotherapy solutions, most likely they are gone within 24 hours and probably less. Certainly, to be safe, waiting one week is more than adequate.

Literally the day after injections it is safe. Sclerotherapy solutions are cleared the same day they are used.
