Compression stockings may help your condition if the lymph node is causing obstruction, but the reason for the enlarged node must be addressed rapidly.

It should be fine to wear compression with an enlarged lymph node, but I would recommend you discuss this with your doctor to be sure.

Compression may help but you should consult with your treating physician first. It sounds as if an examination is necessary.

The enlarged lymph node is of greater concern. Has your MD diagnosed the reason for it?

Unless you also have vein disease, compression stocking will not help. You need a hematologist to look into that node ASAP.

Compression stockings are not the answer. You need to have a work-up for the enlarged lymph node and most likely a biopsy of the node. This should be done soon.

The two are not related. You definitely need to have the lymph node evaluated. If u have varicose veins, you can still wear stockings.

I assume you mean 1 - 2 cm. If you have had this evaluated and are observing it, compression hose won't be of benefit. If you do mean 12cm, you should be evaluated for a hernia.

My vascular surgeon did an ultrasound and prescribed endovenous laser ablation. She also suggested that I wear compression stockings after the procedure. However, due to severe psoriasis and eczema on my feet, I cannot wear full-coverage stockings that cover them. They must always be in wet dressings, but cannot be fully covered. Would footless compression stockings be just as effective as full-coverage hose following the procedure?
