I wasn't able to get compression hose until 24 hours after my treatment, is it a waste to start wearing compression hose now?

No. Wear the hose during the day for a week post-sclerotherapy.

Seven days total for the use of compression stockings. I guess by this point it is pointless unless you are having more treatment. Seven days total using the stockings after every treatment.

In our center my staff apply the hose at the end of the treatment and these are left on for 24 hrs then worn daily for a week. Wearing the hose make make your legs more comfortable and keep the veins closed down while healing.

Your doctor probably wrapped it after the procedure. You can take the wrap off and put on compression stockings. The more you wear it, the better your outcome.

The duration of compression depends on the procedure done and the treating physician's protocol. If you need to wear compression for greater than 24 hours, then you should get the stockings.
