Leg pain can occur if your stockings do not fit well. You may want to recheck your sizing to make sure that you have the appropriate fit.

I think you should get the stocking measurement rechecked. They generally do not cause discomfort if they are properly fitted.

If you have not been fitted by a medical professional or medical supply store, you should. When fitted properly, TED hose should not cause pain and discomfort.

Soreness can occur when wearing TED stockings. If the stockings were prescribed by a doctor or were purchased from a medical supply store, I'd recommend you go back and have them look to see if the hose are the correct fit.

TED hose are a low compression stocking designed to be worn by people who are post-operative, less mobile, and for a limited time. They are essentially a disposable product with limited sizing. A good compression hose should be measured and fitted by someone who is experienced, and should not cause discomfort.

It is not normal to have pain and soreness when wearing TED hose. That said, you should NOT wear TED hose; instead, you need compression stockings.

It is not normal to have leg pain or discomfort while wearing TED stockings. If this occurs, then the stockings may not be fitting appropriately and you should try a better fitting pair.

My vascular surgeon did an ultrasound and prescribed endovenous laser ablation. She also suggested that I wear compression stockings after the procedure. However, due to severe psoriasis and eczema on my feet, I cannot wear full-coverage stockings that cover them. They must always be in wet dressings, but cannot be fully covered. Would footless compression stockings be just as effective as full-coverage hose following the procedure?
