You should see your surgeon if you are concerned. There can be residual areas like this. I recommend my patients massage with Dermaka or Arnica cream and use low heat often.

Yes, this is normal and expected for several weeks after vein treatment. You can expect the areas to slowly heal (resolve in color and hardness) over a period of not less than six weeks, and as long as a few months without serious concern.

This is not abnormal and likely represents a segment of closed vein or superficial clot under the skin which can be quite painful. Warm soaks, anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen or Advil) and patience should resolve this in
the next few weeks.

Yes, it can be very normal to have "soreness and lumps" after vein treatments. Depending on the size of the veins and how close to the surface the veins are, the longer it could take to heal.

Yes, this is normal. This is likely a small hematoma beneath the skin from some bleeding that occurred with the procedure. As the body absorbs the old blood this should resolve completely.

Yes, it is normal. It is probably a vein with some trapped blood. This usually resolves without any treatment.

It depends on the procedure, but sometimes with the ambulatory phlebectomy, some of the vein fragments stay in the body and may form clots in them. This is not a health risk and those clots and vein fragments will eventually be reabsorbed in the body. A follow up appointment is always recommended and, if those lumps are big enough, the physician or NP may be able to drain those lumps to help with healing.

This is most likely a hematoma or a clotted vein secondary to the laser. This is normal. Apply warm compresses and take anti-inflammatory medicines (with your doctor's approval) and it will resolve.

It depends on what kind of "vein surgery" that you had done. Did you have stripping, or injections or laser? Each can have its own set of potential issues. My assumption is that you have either a hematoma, trapped blood or a feeder vein causing localize irritation. That being said, the lump can be normal but it should get better over the next few weeks. I would recommend that you have your doctor do a quick ultrasound just to see what is underlying the lump.
