I recommend taking ibuprofen after endovenous ablation to help with any discomfort and also as an antiflammatory agent.

As long as you don't have a contraindication to taking it, Ibuprofen will help avoid the post-procedural pain.

As long as there are no contraindications such a history of ulcers or kidney disease, I generally recommend ibuprofen for post procedure pain and inflammation. Many people have no or little discomfort and they don't need to take any medication. Some people has some discomfort and Non steroidal inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen seems to work the best.

I would recommend an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen. There is little risk to taking the medication, and it will shorten the recovery period.

Non-steroidal anti-inflamatories are almost always recommended after EVLT. Ibuprofen is one of those and can be used. There are some prescription products as well.
They help to reduce the discomfort that many patients have in the first week after the procedure.

I recommend it routinely after the procedure for any pain. I especially use it liberally with endo laser ablation.

Ibuprofen or other antiinflammatory agent will diminish the phlibitic reaction that often develops after EVLT. We always recommend Ibuprofen or Indocin in the first 48 hrs after EVLT.

You should ask your physician. I allow my patients to take Ibuprofen . After the procedure if they have no other contraindications.
