I have tiny reddish spider veins under my eyes. I think they are caused by my swim goggles (they require a tight fit) and fair skin. What is the safest and most effective treatment to remove these?
From your description, you have dilated capillaries (red, pink threadlike vessels) and not veins (blue, purple vessels). Capillaries are treated with a vascular laser (KTP 532nm, PDL 585nm). IPL is minimally effective to remove these capillaries.

There are many options to remove red spider facial veins including laser, VeinWave, VeinGogh, and microneedle radiofrequency. All methods can work. See a vein specialist.

Laser treatment is by far the best method for spider veins on the face.

For facial veins, we have found the most effective treatment to be Photoderm (high impulse light). You may also want to consult a dermatologist and discuss the efficacy of laser therapy.

Laser.

These veins could either be injected or treated with a laser. There are pros and cons to each. Eye protection is most important in this area when using a laser. Sometimes eye shields need to be placed on the cornea directly. With sclerotherapy injections there is rare but possible complication of the injected material affecting eyesight. This should be discussed with whomever is going to treat you.

We have Bovi machine that will remove spider veins on the face.

As long as the eyes can be protected, IPL can be helpful as well as YAG laser if needed.

It's hard to say without seeing them, but I would consider using the VeinGogh. If the vessels are of decent calibre, then sclerotherapy would be my next best option. If not, laser or IPL.

There are various treatments available. In our office, we use the vein wave. It is a tiny needle that is heated only on the tip by radiofrequency to treat tiny veins on face, legs and other areas.

Intense pulsed light therapy works well for the smallest veins. Radiofrequency needle works well also. You might have rosacea, so final suggestions require examination.

We typically use a laser with a very small spot size to target these small veins. It is very effective in one to two treatments. However, if there is diffuse redness present, we may incorporate Intense Pulse Light (IPL) also. We protect the eyes using eye shields. I too am a swimmer and good goggles should not be tight but form a slight suction to keep out water. Goggles may be the cause but, with your fair skin, it may also be genetic. Additionally, you should be using a high zinc minimum 30 SPF sun protection if you swim outside. Sun and wind can add to this type of damage.

The best treatment for the tiny spider veins on the face is the Veinwave. Although there are some lasers such as V beam that work, they are more uncomfortable and require sun avoidance.
