Why do I have a strong pulsating feeling and dull pain in the left vaginal wall after embolization one month ago?

The only thing that relieves it is rolling up a towel and placing it under by left buttock and sitting. It then feels like things are circulating better and the pain goes away. Have you ever heard of this and why does it happen?

You did not tell me what you had embolized. I am not sure why you're having no symptoms. I would suggest returning to the doctor that treated you.

I would recommend you discuss this with your radiologist. It is difficult to assess something like this without seeing you.

You need to address this with your treating physician who knows your specific medical issues and the details of your treatment. A throbbing discomfort at the same rate as the heart beat usually is due to a small amount of swelling in the tissues and this might be a temporary result of treatment.

It is likely that you have more pelvic varices that were not treated or just not seen that are located more posterior near your buttock. It would be a good idea to follow up with your doctor and have another ultrasound.
