Why is my compression stocking causing swelling?

I punctured my SFA ~2" below groin. I had a right saphenous vein bypass. ~4 weeks since surgery. Wearing the compression stocking (only during day) greatly increases swelling. Wake with ankle ~ double size. If don't wear, ankle ~ normal. Why?

The hose must be causing lymphatic obstruction, which was caused by scat tissue from your operation. You should quit using the hose.
