I had my ablation about 10 days ago and I'm still sore. I was scheduled to have the second ablation this week but it's too early for my taste. If I do not have the second one done, do I risk unravelling what I had done on the other leg? Bad idea?
A short-term delay of weeks rarely is a problem. You would need to discuss with your physician, but it is not unusual to delay a planned procedure for a variety of reasons.

No, not at all. The timing of your second leg has nothing to do with the
success or failure of the first leg procedure. Wait until you feel 90% and
then proceed.

You will not harm the first ablation by skipping the second procedure for a while. I am assuming you had the Long Saphenous ablated and the plan is to ablate the Short Saphenous.
This typically doesn't cause the same discomfort as the Great(Long ) Saphenous as it is encased in the calf muscle. Many people only need one or the other taken care of but in the instance two on the same leg, 10 days to 2 weeks apart is fine.
You should feel comfortable with your decision after discussing with your surgeon.

No effect from waiting on the second leg. In fact I usually wait a month between procedures, for this reason. Tining doesnt really affect the other procedure.

There is no rush to do the other side and waiting will not affect the original procedure.

Not at all. Waiting will not affect the work on the opposite leg.

It is difficult to answer that question without knowing which vein was treated and what vein needs another ablation, and obviously some more details of the anatomy. However, in general it is better to continue with the pace of the treatment. You are wearing compression stockings already, the sooner all the procedures are done, the sooner you will be able to take off the stockings. You might be taking some anti-inflamatory medications, the more procedures you overlap the sooner you will be able to stop those medications. Besides summer is coming soon and you want to be done and well healed by then, so you will be better finishing the job ASAP.
Will wait few weeks "ruin" the work done? Probably not but... it is possible.

No harm in waiting.
