I have not recognized an effect on arterial blood pressure due to pelvic congestion syndrome. It might be possible for so much blood to collect in the pelvic veins that venous blood return to the heart might be reduced resulting in lower arterial blood pressure. We occasionally see a pateint with such severe varicose veins in the legs that arterial blood pressure drops with prolonged standing.
