The pain that you are describing is not the most typical for pain related to chronic venous insufficiency. It is important to follow up with your vein doctor and look to see what may be causing your aching leg.

You need to have a follow-up ultrasound and see if there are any branches of the veins that are refluxing, or any perforators that may be abnormal. Treating these abnormal veins will help the pain.

This still could be healing, but I would recommend a duplex scan of the legs to be sure everything is okay.

Your pain may not be related to your vein problems or procedures. If you have had an ultrasound examination and your post-treatment phase was uneventful, your problem may be related to your knee. Possible arthritic changes?

There are many kinds of vein surgery. Your question is vague. It has been 7 months since your procedure and you still have leg discomfort. You should follow up with your treating physician.

It could be due to something besides the veins. Perhaps you need to go back and see your physician.
