I have a visible vein in my penis which came after using a ring during sex. It has been aching near the base even without erection what might this be?

I don't know. I think you need to talk to a urologist. The pain is probably not related to the vein.

You may have developed superficial phlebitis of the penile vein. Apply wet, warm compresses and take ibuprofen. It is doesn't improve over the next 3 days then follow up with a vein specialist or urologist.

You probably have a thrombosed vein within the penis. I would see a urologist.
