VNUS . 2 answers . 2 years ago

I had venous and foam treatment to both of my legs one week ago. Recovery is good although my thigh is very bruised and tender. However, my ankles appear swollen. Is this normal?

These findings are usually normal post treatment especially if you had treatments around your ankle and foot. However, occasionally foam can migrate into the deeper venous system to cause a DVT. This doesn't sound like your case, but you should follow up with your vein specialist.
