I have sutures in place after having an ambulatory Phlebectomy. I soon after suture removal can I start tanning?
Don't tan. It ages your skin and causes skin cancer. Use spray on tan. It's
safer. If you must expose your skin to UV radiation (the sun), wait 2 -4
weeks. There is a much higher incidence of hyper and hypo pigmentation (
light or dark spots) after surgery, laser skin treatments, sclerotherapy
etc. in people who sun bathe.
