What is the relationship between high blood pressure and endovenous laser ablation?

My blood pressure was normal until the endovenous procedure. Immediately following the procedure my blood pressure became very elevatated. My blood pressure has remained high ever since. Now taking high blood pressure medication since this procedure.

I do not believe that there is any relation between the two medical problems. You might not have been well aware that you blood pressure was elevated before. I have never seen hypertension as a direct consequence of these procedures.

Your Bp may rise due to nerves when having the procedure. Epinephrine is used which may raise it as well but this is usually a short term issue.

Initially after the procedure there could be a transient rise in blood pressure simply due to anxiety around the procedure. However, there is no relationship between elevation of blood pressure and endovenous ablation. Your blood pressure rise is due to some other reason.
