Laser Vein Center is a medical
practice combining advanced, innovative medical technology into a
relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. We treat all vein problems from small
cosmetic spider veins to advanced vein disease and skin ulcers.
Varicose
veins are a real medical issue that, left untreated, can lead to larger
problems. Veins are more than a cosmetic issue.
Your visit to our office begins with
diagnostics, evaluating the health of your veins. Dr. Wright sees all
patients from diagnostics through treatment and into follow-up, and each
treatment plan is individualized to the needs of the patient's veins.
We treat with state-of-the-art methods,
emphasizing minimal downtime and maximum healing. Dr. Wright regularly
participates in ongoing education and training to stay advanced in care.
Dr. Wright also conducts research in the field of vein disease and
treatment, publishing numerous papers and studies on improvement of
efficacy of method and care.
We treat patients like honored guests,
with comfortable, personalized care. We seek to educate patients and
their families on veins and vein disease to help them understand the
importance of venous health.
Our practice is the only practice in
the area that accepts and is credentialed with all of the insurance
carriers in the region, which often makes us the most affordable
provider of these services. Since we are an independent office, we carry
no extra facility fees or hospital costs, which helps your treatment
expense greatly.
Services Offered
VEIN TREATMENTS
With advances in ultrasound guided
sclerotherapy and laser vein treatments, we can get rid of your
varicose veins comfortably and effectively with little downtime. If left
untreated, vein disease can lead to significant medical complications.
Because of this, most insurance companies cover treatment of symptomatic
vein problems. Now varicose veins can be treated from inside the vein, a
procedure called vein ablation, without the trauma associated with
old-school vein stripping. The procedure is done in our medical office
under local anesthesia with no scarring. Patients return to their
regular activities within one to two days. Symptoms such as swelling,
tenderness, restlessness, heaviness and fatigue in the legs are often
caused by vein disease; treating the damaged veins relieves these
uncomfortable symptoms and restores proper circulation.
We also treat spider veins, the cosmetic, superficial veins that make
legs and other areas unsightly. Using sclerotherapy and a course of
treatment determined by the doctor, we eradicate these annoying marks
and restore beautiful legs.
Spider veins may also appear on the face or hands; and as red veins on
the nose. We easily treat these and the bluish veins that may cause eyes
to look darkened or injured.
BOTOX COSMETIC
is a simple, non-surgical,
physician-administered treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to
severe frown lines between the brows in adults from 18 to 65 years of
age. Dr/ Wright is an experiences injector of Botox and Dysport for
wrinkle relief.
RESTYLANE
Restylane is a clear hyaluronic gel.
The result is instantaneous natural enhancement of the skin. Restylane
is used for smoothing out wrinkles; plumping sunken areas; adding
voilume to lift sagging facial structure; enhancing lips and getting rid
of frown and worry lines on the face.We also have Juvederm, Belotero,
and Radiesse for injection of lines and sagging areas.
EVLT and RFA
Endovenous Laser Treatment and
Radiofrequency Ablation are treatment alternatives to surgical
stripping of the greater saphenous vein. That surgery and its involved
nature are now outdated. Instead, with endovenous ablation, small fiber
is inserted into a pre-numbed area, and introduced itno the damaged
vein. Pulses of energy are delivered inside the vein, which causes the
vein to collapse and seal shut. The procedure is done in-office under
local anesthesia and is comfortable. Following the procedure a bandage
or compression stocking is placed on the treated leg to facilitate rapid
closure of the treated vein.
Dr. Wright performs an ablation of the largest vein causing of the vein
problems before proceeding to treat the smaller refluxing (dilated and
leaking) veins downstream. Treating vein disease in this stepped
approach allows for more effective and durable results.
VeinWave
VeinWave is treatment for unsightly
tiny spider and thread veins that appear on the face and body. We can
treat the small veins on the face and body that cannot be treated with
sclerotherapy, quickly and without pain. Dr Wright is proud to be a
well-versed expert in facial vein removal.
Veinwave works using radio waves that
are pulsed directly to the desired area, so treatment is quick and
pain-free. The device was developed by a vascular surgeon as a way to
treat very tiny veins on the surface of the skin that cannot be treated
with sclerotherapy. The other options for treating these tiny veins,
laser and light treatments, risk burning and scarring the area around
the vessel, which does not occur with the Veinwave.
Veinwave can also be used to treat veins in difficult-to-treat
locations, including the face, ankles, and knees. The treatment takes
less than 15 minutes to perform and involves no downtime. Any adult man
or woman in good general health who has thin spider veins, or tangled,
thread-like veins known as “telangiectasia,” is a good candidate. Also
anyone who is looking for a fast procedure and wants to avoid the
possibility of bruising or scarring should consider VeinWave treatment.
