Norman M. Bein, MD, FACS, RPhS
Dr. Bein has 30 years of vein surgery under his belt. He holds a certification from The American Board of Surgery, and is a Fellow of The American College of Surgery. He's also a member of the American College of Phlebology and is a Registered Vascular Technologist.
Dr. Bein's surgical training began at The Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, where he spent two years. He spent another two years on tour of duty in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in Southeast Asia, where he finished his training and became the chief resident surgeon at The Jefferson University Medical School and Hospital in Philadelphia. He has also helped establish surgical hospitals internationally, such as in the Middle East and Asia.
