How You Can Use the Presence of a Spider Vein to Your Advantage

Updated on: August 18, 2014

You've always been considered a rather pessimistic person. You're definitely the kind of person who sees the worst possible scenario in ever situation. If you haven't heard from someone in longer than a week, you assume that either that person is unbelievably angry at you, dead, or has been kidnapped. You are seriously in need of a visit from the Nice Fairy.

Of course, when you got your first spider vein, it might as well have been the end of the world. Your immediate thought was that it was indicative of a clot. Well, this spider vein didn't turn out to be that serious, but you were correct in thinking that it could be a signal of such a thing.

A spider vein is, in fact, a small vein in which blood has pooled. There are numerous causes of a spider vein, but in your case, you got it because of the strain your pregnancies put on your legs. Well, at least you know that you're not in any sort of immediate peril, nor does your leg need to be amputated.

Your children urge you to turn over a new leaf and be grateful that it wasn't something more serious. Plus, Halloween is coming up, and you have a costume to plan! You're usually busy criticizing the costumes that are available (they're cheaply made, they're too expensive, etc.). But, this time, your little vein friend can help. Who needs tights; you can use your vein (and use makeup to draw more in) for your Bride of Frankenstein look!
