Phlebectomy in Idaho Falls, Idaho (ID)

A phlebectomy is a common and relatively safe procedure to remove problematic varicose veins near the surface of the skin. It's performed by making tiny incisions or punctures in the skin (1 millimeter or less) with a large gauge needle, and then using hooks to remove the vein through the incisions. The vein is taken out in portions, so several tiny incisions are needed. A local anesthetic is used and the patient should not experience any pain during the phlebectomy procedure.
