VIVA 2015: The Premier Global, Multidisciplinary Course for Vascular Medicine and Intervention

by VIVA Physicians

VIVA IS THE PREMIER GLOBAL, MULTIDISCIPLINARY COURSE FOR VASCULAR MEDICINE AND INTERVENTION.

For the past 13 years, VIVA has defined excellence in professional education by offering attendees an innovative, provocative and balanced educational experience, enhanced by: highlighting the opinions of all specialties and stakeholders who touch the vascular patient, the use of cutting edge technology, and the promotion of electronic interaction between participants and faculty experts.

Each year, our world-renowned domestic and international faculty challenge attendees by critically evaluating evolving therapies and new innovations, as well as engaging in lively discussions on the year’s most challenging cases. VIVA participants learn from one another in an environment that truly supports camaraderie. VIVA does not shy away from the tough issues and with our colleagues from regulatory and reimbursement organizations, VIVA exposes the obstacles facing vascular practitioners to provide state-of-the art care to their patients. With multiple learning venues and formats, intense and focused education, the latest in cutting-edge technology, new hands-on workshops and the latest clinical data presentations, VIVA 15 is a must-see educational event for the dedicated vascular specialist.

The VEINS (Venous Endovascular INterventional Strategies) was established in 2011 with the primary goal of providing a “How To” meeting for cardiovascular professionals including cardiologists, radiologists, vascular surgeons, vascular medicine specialists, vascular technologists and nurses who are interested in advancing their knowledge of venous disease and skills in venous interventions. During the last four years, this has developed into a premier national venous symposium offering extensive education on the treatment of patients with venous diseases, with attendees not only from the United States but also from 10 other countries.

With increasing demands on physicians and the industry, consequently making attendance at various meetings more challenging, combining The VEINS and VIVA addresses this challenge and provides attendees a more comprehensive education. This year, The VEINS moves to its new home in Las Vegas and will be held Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1 just prior to VIVA 2015. The VEINS includes a packed agenda representing the basics as well as advanced topics, contemporary issues, emerging data and controversies in the management of venous disease. We are fortunate to have the venous worlds “who’s who” as faculty. The VEINS will maintain its identity and continue to have multispecialty faculty, hands-on workshops and intimate breakout discussions. We hope to see you in Vegas!
