Suresh Vedantham, MD


Dr. Suresh Vedantham is an Interventional Radiologist and a Professor of Radiology & Surgery at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Vedantham serves as the Vice-Chair of the Venous Disease Coalition, is on the Board of Directors for the Vascular Disease Foundation, and is a nationally-recognized leader in the clinical use and scientific assessment of endovascular clot removal treatments for DVT. Dr. Vedantham also participates at a leadership level in a number of projects and organizations, including the American College of Phlebology, the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organization’s (JCAHO’s) national DVT standards project, and the SIR Foundation.
