I had the VenaSeal procedure on my saphenous vein. I have pain but my doctor won't address it. Now, at 2 weeks, I have bruising running from my knee up to my inner thigh. What should I do?

Is this within the norm? I am concerned as the area is 5" x 6" and is above the knee. The area is sore to the touch ( I would give it a 5 out of 10 for pain) and has continued to darken over time.

I've been considering VenaSeal, but have questions about the results. What is the likelihood varicose veins will return after VenaSeal? What is the timetable for it?

I'm a 32-year-old male with a family history of varicose veins and a recent diagnosis of superficial and deep varicose veins. I've purchased compression socks and have no problem wearing them, but I do want to start working out heavily, either with strength training, endurance training, or aggressive static, start/stop training. My venous specialist recently recommended VenaSeal. I'm considering it, but I wonder if I'm jumping the gun.

I am a complicated 60-year-old kidney transplant patient who, despite this, actively runs and speed walks 2-3 miles 4-5 times a week. Should I be concerned about DVT's and further clots, as well as infection. VenaSeal has been recommended by my physician. What puts me at a greater risk, the varicosity or the VenaSeal procedure? My ultrasound is consistent with GSV scarring and possible clot in past, along with HX of 3 superficial clots in knee area.

A few bulging branch veins persist after left GSV ablation ~4 weeks ago. Will using varicose vein cream help with these veins?

I mentioned to ultrasound tech when went back for follow-up three days post-procedure. She said normal, but was hoping now that a week has passed it would be gone. Having RL done tomorrow, so just worried how I will feel with both legs like this if it is a normal thing?
