My wife is wearing a thigh high compression stocking. She gets groin pain. Is that normal?

Doctors discovered a massive blood clot in her leg when pregnant. It was from her pelvis to her knee. The baby was fine through all of this and my wife had a surgery after giving birth to remove most of the clot. Doctors believe the clot was there before we got pregnant.
She had a stent put in and is on blood thinners for life. Currently on lovanox and asprin.
She also has a bone growth. Her femur is 3 time the normal size. Nothing doctors can do about that.

Ensure that the stocking is correctly measured and long enough. However it shouldn't go right into the groin as it will press on tendons there. The pain may also not directly be caused by the hose. She may be better in one that is a little shorter. Discuss this with her vascular surgeon also.

I have CVI in both legs. I have heavy and achy legs all the time. My left leg has more severe symptoms than my right leg. But numerous ultrasound reports show very mild reflux on my left leg and significant reflux on my right. Why is my left leg having unbearable leg pain and so much more severe symptoms? I never had DVT. Could it possible that I have MTS?

I had surgery on my knee about 8 weeks ago. Everything was great. I even went to see the doctor 2 times for post op checkups and everything was fine, things were healing well. About 2 days ago a red rash popped up and there were splotches all over my legs. I showed the doctor, a pharmacist and a nurse, and they thought it was blood clots and told me to go to the ER. I went to the ER and they told me that nothing was wrong. They did an ultrasound on my leg to make sure it wasn't blood clots.

I am afraid the supplement is not pure enough and it is not regulated. So, is Vasculera good for my heavy and achy legs caused by venous insufficiency? Can I take it in the long run?

I was diagnosed with CVI last year. I have heavy, achy legs all the time. I am wearing 20-30 mmHg thigh-high compression stockings daily. My parents are overseas. I know I will not take flight unless absolutely necessary. If I need to take a 12-15 hour flight for an emergency situation, is it safe? A business class seat is a must and so is walking in the cabin every hour, but what else can I do to prevent DVT?

I have had varicose veins for 12 years. Just recently, I began doing things I don't normally do, like a lot of squats. Now, for the past four days, I have a burning sensation and sharp, tender pain. The pain is worse upon standing, squatting and bending over. It is also warm to the touch. Did I overdo it? Also, is the warmth normal? Going to make an appointment, I just want to know if this can happen. I've had pain in the past but it would go away soon after rest.

I was diagnosed with venous insufficiency last year. I am suffering from heavy, achy and burning legs. Compression stockings, walking, elevation and supplements all combined do help some, but I am still feeling the discomfort and it affects my quality of life. Should I have treatment done now or should I wait until I develop varicose veins and ulcers, then have it done? How fast is the disease progressing? Can early treatment prevent it from progressing? How much relief to expect for treatment?

The veins and some arteries have collapsed, and my heart surgeon has suggested another bypass. Will there be more problems if I have veins and arteries removed? Basically, is the procedure worth having? The first bypass was done in 1999 when I was much younger and could recover faster and easier. Also, at that time the veins were able to reroute easier.

My symptoms consist of heavy, achy and tired legs. I have reflux of the GSV and some other veins. Morning is better than later afternoon. Elevation helps. Have NO visible sign on the legs. There are some veins protruding on the feet. Do you recommend vein closure procedure for patients like this? What are the chances they can benefit from the procedure? Will they be better off by wearing compression stocking than procedure? Still suffer with compression stocking.

I am suffering from achy, heavy and tired legs due to CVI diagnosed last year. I have no varicose veins. I am wearing 20-30mmHg thigh-high compression stockings when I am not in bed. Can I continue with my hobby of ballroom dancing with this condition? I am trying to wear as low of a heel as possible. Is this still a good hobby? I do a lot of mini walks all day to take a break from my office job. Am I doing the right thing?
