Services Offered
For varicose vein patients, our options include:
- VenaSeal™ Closure System – Involves using a proprietary medical adhesive to close the vein using a small catheter threaded into the vein (endovenously). There is minimal to no bruising and you do not need to wear compression stockings. You can resume activities the same day.
- ClosureFast™ Radiofrequency Ablation – This minimally-invasive procedure is covered by most insurance plans. It involves firing radiofrequency energy into the main veins so they shrink and then seal up naturally. Blood is then re-routed to other, healthier veins and the damaged veins are absorbed by the body.
- Compression Therapy – Many insurance companies require wearing compression stockings before they authorize treatment for varicose veins
- Ambulatory Phlebectomy – A safe technique used to improve the cosmetic appearance of the skin by completely removing the vein after it has been successfully sealed.
For varicose vein and spider vein patients, we offer:
Sclerotherapy – Vein injections are administered in our office and typically take less than an hour. We use micro-needles to inject a chemical solution into the varicose and spider veins.
