On the Medical Front, we have achieved spectacular results using the Endovenous Laser procedure (ELVeS) to treat large veins, which is a revolutionary non-surgical alternative to vein stripping and it is performed in our office as an outpatient. A thin laser fiber is inserted into the affected vein, which then treats the vein as it is withdrawn. This procedure uses local anesthesia and takes about an hour in the office. It is covered by many insurance plans. Patients can resume activities of daily living the very next day. We have acquired a new state-of-the-art ultrasound system to help assist with the ELVes procedure. For treatment of spider veins, we have made new advances for a faster and superior outcome.
