You could actually have started driving 10 days ago. I have never put a driving restirction on my patients after thermal ablation. Never had a complication. Provided you wear your compression stockings, you can drive.

Our patients typically can drive 2 days after our EVLA and actually could drive the day of the procedure. I do not allow my patients to drive for 2 days until the light dressings come off.

Unless you have extreme pain/bruising that would cause you to have pain driving, you should definitely be able to drive at 10 days. Speak with your surgeon.

You may drive immediately if you only had tumescent anesthesia. If you had any kind of sedation, then you shouldn't drive for 24 hours.
